    Can I still register my son or daughter at an ASPIRA school?

    Yes! We are still accepting applications for the 2016-2017 school year, and will begin accepting applications for the 2016-17 school year in September. All you have to do is fill out an application. You can also click here to fill our our School Inquiry Form online.


    What if I already registered my child at another school?

    One of our registrars will be happy to assist you with transferring your child.


    How many schools does ASPIRA have?

    We have four schools:


    Do ASPIRA Schools require school uniforms?

    Yes, all of our schools require a student uniform. Traditionally, we use blue polo shirts, but the color of the pants vary by campus.


    Do ASPIRA Schools require a fee to enroll?

    No. We will not require student activity fees for the 2015-2016 school year.


    Do ASPIRA Schools have programs for Special Education or for Students that don’t speak English?

    Yes, we have our own certified educators for Special Education students and English Language Learners. We also have specialized courses in English, History, Math and Science for diverse learners.


    Are ASPIRA Schools safe?

    Yes, we have a reputation of having safe schools. We have our own security guards, surveillance cameras, and we build strong relationships with students to ensure everyone is safe.


    Are ASPIRA Schools good schools?

    Yes. In addition to the rigorous curriculum each school provides, ASPIRA stands out for the level of supports our students and families receive to ensure that they meet, and often exceed, class expectations. For example, Haugan Middle School provides academic “boot camps” for students who are behind academically and are known for sending the most applications to selective-enrollment high schools, Early College High School is the first high school of its kind to partner with a four-year university. Antonia Pantoja high school has dual enrollment opportunities with City Colleges of Chicago, and offers Advanced Placement courses. Our Business and Finance students will not only graduate from high school with a business plan, but will be tapped into a network of entrepreneurs and business leaders to help bring their ideas to life.


    We also provide supports to our families. From helping them navigate the Individual Educational Plan (IEP) process, to FAFSA workshops, to GED and English language courses - Everyone is part of the ASPIRA Family!


    Do ASPIRA Schools offer college credit opportunities?

    Yes, we have both Dual Enrollment (student take classes at a local college), Dual Credit (student take college classes at the high school) and Advanced Placement (high school course for college credit, pending score on AP exam).


    Do ASPIRA Schools offer sports?

    Yes. Each campus has their own award-winning sports teams.


    Do ASPIRA Schools offer resources for parents?

    Yes. Each campus have monthly parent meetings with the principal. Also, each campus will provide programs and workshops that fit the needs of the parents we serve. These include: computer classes, English classes, and GED classes for parents.
