In 1968, Aspira Inc. of Illinois (“ASPIRA”) was established as a 501(c) (3) organization in Chicago’s Logan Square community area in response to the daunting high school dropout rates in the Latino community.
During its thirty-eight (38) years of serving youth and families, ASPIRA has helped thousands of disadvantaged students enter college; hundreds of parents understand the complex educational process; and numerous families strengthen their relationships. ASPIRA’s achievements would not have been possible without the generosity of friends of ASPIRA who contribute their time and talents to make ASPIRA what it is today.

In order to expand ASPIRA’s program capacity to meet the community’s growing educational needs and to continue providing high quality services that will benefit youth and their families in underserved communities, we need your support. Gifts provide the opportunity to make a positive impact, leave a legacy, give something back and make the community a better place. The annual gifts of alumni and friends of ASPIRA have an enormous impact on the well-being of ASPIRA. Whatever you can give, please know that your gift will be deeply appreciated.

“ASPIRA needs to meet the growing educational needs of all community residents.”

Sonia Sanchez,
Board Chairperson of ASPIRA

Why Give to ASPIRA?

The goal of this fundraising campaign is to raise resources to support ASPIRA’s academic mission of providing a high quality education to youth so they may finish high school, prepare for college and/or a technical career and be successful in their life endeavors.
Your gift will provide ongoing support to:
• run the vital day-to-day operating expenses of the organization.
• build and maintain schools and youth development facilities that prepare students to stay in school, meet the challenges of post-secondary education, build academic and real-world skills and become productive lifelong learners.
• provide parent training so that they may become advocates for their children’s academic success.
